As a Humanistic Integrative counsellor, I work from a Person Centered approach, integrating Transactional Analysis, Gestalt and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Essentially I believe that you are the expert of your life. Therefore we work from your perspective to explore patterns of thinking and behaving, working together to identify areas of difficulty and then collaborating to incorporate new, healthier ways of thinking and behaving. This can have a positive impact on how you view and respond to life’s challenges, how you relate to others and react to situations. Transactional Analysis helps us understand relationships and how we relate to others. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy provides us with effective tools and coping strategies to make positive changes to the way we think, feel and behave.
